I have never done treasure chests before, can you let me know what they are all about? What’s the stuff inside?

ADMIN: Treasure chests are allot of fun and a decent challenge. Common (good) loot is BH Armor pieces (for Mando), crystals and pearls (I have looted 3 Flawless in the last 30 days), Treasure Map specific collection items, more Maps and decent mod’d loot items. The armor piece in the picture was a +20/+18 item. That’s all solo stuff, but groups get better and more loot, I am told. There are a couple tricks to surviving the maps, but most people will gladly fill you in.

+1 more for any tips or links on Treasure Maps. I’ve foraged a bunch as a L90 Trader but never used them, just tried selling them.

ADMIN: I thought I had a Treasure Map guide posted on the blog, but cannot find it. In a nutshell: Choose READ on Map to find the planet, which will be either Dantooine or Talus. If you are on the correct planet it will give you a waypt. Go to that waypoint and bring up SEARCH AREA option on same map. This will give you an update waypoint usually within 15 m of your first waypt. Go to the updated waypt and pull vehicle. Choose EXTRACT TREASURE and immediately drive away. Two or 3 Jedi will spawn and chase you. When they drop agro, go back and pull one at a time. My toons are not tough enough to handle 3 elite Jedi at once, that why I run and pull.
