Out of Sight, Out of Mind

There has not been a retail box version of Star Wars Galaxies for a couple years now. This was not good for the game, as many people browsing for a new game to play would never have thought of SWG.  The only way to get the game was to download it.

Well, the visablity of the game has just increased as Star Wars Galaxies is now available on Steam!

If you go to the link and watch the Trailer, even that looks new. Correct me if I am wrong, but it appears that SOE/LA is finally making an effort to get more subs.

And the game is 50% off at $9.99 for a limited time. And General Grevious Wheel Bike? If I buy the game and register the code, do I get get the bike? That would be worth $10 to me.

    If you buy it, then yes you get the bike on the account you register the code to. There are a couple of guides on the forums on how to do it properly since Steam is in the mix but the good news is you get the bike on all of the toons on that account. Which to me is totally worth the $10.

    I was really excited when I saw this flyer in my e-mail box. I thought OMG what is this? Advertizing for SWG? “Ruuut Roe” – Scooby Doo
    Whats really interesting is STEAM is involved. Because at this years Fan Fair I asked the devs if STEAM would be involved with promoting SWG in the near future and T-squard or Lokkk said flat out in the panel. “No”
    LOL so much for them knowing what Lucas arts was doing ? or is that SOE who made the decision? I wonder..
