3 Million Chronicle Missions

Introduced back in October, Chronicle Master allows users to create their own missions and share them with the community. Fans have apparently responded in a big way, creating some three million pieces of interactive Star Wars fiction in just over a month alone.

The Chronicle Master is similar to the City of Heroes Mission Architect, which was released earlier this year. It was similarly successful, generating some 3800 arcs in the first 24 hours it was available.

Star Wars Galaxies number are particularly impressive given that it’s estimated to have a mere 50,000 subscribers. But then, Sony Online Entertainment claims that one player created 6,000 playable quests all by himself. That’s some serious dedication there.

    i wonder how many of those chronicles have an actual story to them compared to how many are basic kill for tokens ones, even with that ive been enjoying basic grinding more with kill chronicles for the mobs i have been killing, probably something to do with the chance of getting a gold token lol

    btw theres a new fridsy feature too about the wheel bike

    Thats what I herd too that a lot of chronicles are just poorly written for quick EXP. But after people settle in and get whatever they were looking to get out of it. The real people who really want to make good quests will start popping out of the wood work and we will see some good quests. I think the toughest challenge is, if you want to do live quests with interaction between players you have to post up somewhere so that people can see time and places ahead of time. I hope they keep updating it because I can see a lot of potential and lots of fun for people in the future.
